We provide a range of supportive programs designed to meet each person where they are on their journey—whether it’s through counseling, education, or guidance in navigating the challenges of sobriety. Our certified SAP Counselor offers specialized support for those needing DOT Testing and trucking education. Step 1. The driver must undergo an assessment by a certified SAP Counselor who is DOT-qualified to determine the necessary treatment and education.
Step 2. The driver must successfully complete the treatment or trucking education program prescribed by the SAP.
Step 3. After completing the SAP-recommended program, the driver must pass a DO

Step 3. After completing the SAP-recommended program, the driver must pass a DOT Testing administered drug and/or alcohol test. For alcohol, the result must be less than 0.02, and for drugs, the result must be negative.
Step 4. Your Open Roads SAP will establish a follow-up testing plan.
